Chris Milne Photography Photographic Holidays and Safaris Whether your passion is nature, travel or photography, my holidays are for tailored for you. I have almost 10 years experience in the travel industry, mostly spent with a camera in the National Parks of Africa. Since 2004 I have been the Principal Lecturer at the Blackthorn School of Photography in the Cotswolds. This means I have a unique combination of teaching experience and knowledge of the practical needs of photographers abroad. I have brought my two passions – travel and photography – together in this set of tours which have been designed with the needs of photographers in mind. The tours are designed to suit both the beginner and the experienced photographer – those looking for tuition and help to hone photographic skills, and those seeking the facilities and support to capture that elusive special image. Our itineraries in Kenya, Tanzania and India have been tried and tested to meet the exacting needs of the most demanding of photographers – me. So I am confident that these tours will inspire and excite you as well. The r eas ons why are detailed below. Our tours are organised on a Land Only basis (flights excluded) which gives you flexibility to arrange your itinerary and perhaps to add extra holiday at the beginning or the end of your safari. We can advise you on airlines that fly to our destinations and make suggestions for extensions to your stay.
Choose to travel with Chris Milne Photography because We will do everything we can to make your trip wonderful from the moment we meet you at the airport (for clients arriving up to 2 days before the safari begins) Expert photographic tuition is provided for beginners and advanced photographers, on the game drives themselves and in the afternoon between drives All our safari vehicles are chosen based on their suitability for photographers , such as availability of resting places for lenses, storage space for gear, shade during game drives wherever possible Numbers in each vehicle are limited to a maximum of three on all tours so there is plenty of room to photograph from each side and for storage of your equipment We know that photography can sometimes be tiring, so we stay in comfortable, good quality accommodation to make sure that you have a relaxing holiday as well as an unforgettable photographic experience Wherever possible accommodation is located in the parks to maximise game viewing We include as many game drives as we can in the itinerary There is no limit on the length of game drives . The tour is all about photography, so we get up and out at first light (it is optional!). We maximise the best times for photography in the morning and afternoon, and in the afternoon we stay out till the last light has faded All meals are included and the meal plan is organised around photography so that we maximise our opportunities for quality images No local payments or surprise extras Sometimes long drives between locations are unavoidable but they will be made whenever possible at times that do not affect our game drives or photography |
